The Xotic XP-1T series was introduced in 2011. Like the XJ-1T series, it features a unique wood cover and original Xotic XP pickups that deliver a rugged, warm vintage tone directly. Furthermore, the onboard 3-Band EQ and Xotic Preamp allow for versatile sound shaping capabilities suitable for numerous professional settings.
The body and neck are manufactured by a Japanese supplier with a long-standing relationship of trust with Xotic. Then, the expert builders at Xotic Japan hand-paint, age, and assemble the basses.
Since 2017, the PLEK system has been introduced to scan the condition of each neck. Frets are leveled so that each bass is in its optimal condition, ensuring every single instrument is perfectly adjusted.
